30 Weeks and Counting!

Today I am exactly 30 weeks! I am so grateful to have made it this far, when about 10 weeks ago things weren't looking to promising. I thank all my family, friends and amazing boyfriend for all their help and support.

Seven Months and Counting!

In exactly 2 days I will be 29 weeks! Looking back at the past 9 weeks which definitely were not easy, I have to say I am extremely happy and proud of myself for making it this far. I am so grateful for everything and everyone in my life, this whole experience was an eye opener for me in so many ways. Now that the baby shower has passed the next thing I look forward to is the day I get to meet my 2 baby girls  Thank you everyone for the love and support

One More Little Bump

Then it was November 6th and the morning was going good, I had no issues until around 2pm. At 2pm when I went to the bathroom I wiped something really gross looking. I looked like a long kinda thick booger but it was brown. I had no idea what it was so I told my mom. We called my aunt and she said sounds like it could be old blood but i'm not positive so I would call your doctor. I called my doctor and they advised me to go to the hospital, so back to the hospital it was. Obviously I did not want to go but I had to do what I had to do. I was at the hospital from like 430pm-715pm. They did and sonogram, watched for contractions, checked their fluid levels and listened to their heart beats. They told me that everything looked normal and that the bleeding was most likely just irritation from all the pressure and that the gross discharge was most likely just something old making its way out. I was relieved and was happy to be going back home.

A Little Bump in the Road

On November 5th, I went for my 2 hour glucose test at 730am. It wasn't terrible but it certainly was not fun. Since I was unable to eat that morning and then had to drink that really sweet liquid they gave me, I started to feel really nauseous and light headed. After getting stuck with the needle 4 times I was all done and ready to go home. Once I got home 2 of my aunts and 2 of my cousins were coming over to help get stuff done for my baby shower. I sat at the kitchen table for hours helping, doing the favors, making lollipops and then wrapping them up to make them look all pretty. Around 3pm when I went to the bathroom, I noticed a little bit of pinkish discharge (blood). I knew it was time to lay down and rest. From 3pm to about 8pm I continued to have some blood every time I went to the bathroom. I was worried but was sure it was only because I was up too long. So later I went to bed and woke up the next morning and everything was fine.  I was relieved.

26 weeks 1 day... Getting Big

26 Weeks!

Woohoo! Today I am exactly 26 weeks, it's incredible how far I have come but I always new I could. It  doesn't stop here I still have some time to go but I have faith and know I can do it. Today is November 1st which means my baby shower is in exactly 15 days and I can not wait. Lately things have been going so great and I feel amazing. Just a little bit more and I will finally meet my baby girls.
